The Cold Weather Shelter. Last Sunday morning our congregation gave through our Community Service Fund $602 to the "Cold Weather Shelter" of Carroll County.

Our Annual "Soup-er Bowl Sunday is Coming! Always a fun morning. Mark down the date of Sunday, February 4th. If you can bring a crock-pot of soup please sign up this morning on the bulletin board in the Social Hall. You can also sign up for other related-needed items. Even if you can't bring soup come anyway! We always have enough Please Remember

A Burning Question! When was the last time you invited someone to worship? More people come to the church by personal Invitation than any other way!

When was the last time you told someone how God has blessed your life? Share your faith!

The New 2018 "Operating Budget" approved by the Church Council is available for you to have a copy. Please see our Treasurer Robert Hayes or the Pastor. We are grateful for all our members and friend who week after week support the ministry and mission of the Mount Zion congregation.
Available This Today! Church Offering Envelopes for next year 2018. They are free! You are encouraged by our Finance Committee to use envelopes which means even if you are missing the work & ministry of the congregation goes on. They are on tables in the Social Hall. IMPORTANT! If you don't find your box of envelopes leave a note and we will have them for you this week.

Important! After Worship Fellowship. Please remember that if you are a "coordinator" at "after worship refreshments" you do not have to bring food. Simply do two things. (1) Put out the food we have on hand and (2) Clean up after the fellowship time.

Even If You Are Not Responsible for After Worship Refreshments, please bring something for "light" after worship refreshments. A bag of chips, pretzels, crackers/cheese, soft drinks. We depend on snack donations! Please make a financial donation to help with the cost of coffee and paper supplies.

Did You Know? Did you know that our Christmas Chrismon Sanctuary Tree has now turned into our Epiphany Tree. The Season of Epiphany runs from January 6th to Ash Wednesday which falls this year on February 14th

Financial Information. (1) We need to receive $1,988.10 each week in 2018 to meet our budget. (2) Our offering on January 7th morning was $2,319.00 (3) According to our Treasurer as of Sunday, January 7th (week 1) we are ahead in our Operating Budget by$330.90 (including year-end gifts (4) We received $50 for Pancake placemat ads, $125 for the use of the church hall, $35.00 for the January worship bulletin sponsorship $175.00 in the memorial fund,(5) We received $602 for the Cold Weather Shelter of Carroll County (6) Our goal for the BW Conference "connection" in 2018 is $9,564.00 We were once again a 100% congregation last year. (7) Sunday, January 7th our Maintenance/Building Fund received $317.00. (7) Attendance on January 7th was 66.
